Camtasia Relay has two components, recorder and server, which work together seamlessly.

Profiles

Ease administration time and effort with profiles. A single profile automates everything from the recording settings, to the formats the recording is produced into, to the destinations where produced files are published. The Camtasia Relay administrator can create, modify, and decide which users have access to specific profiles. A single profile can be applied to multiple courses or departments with little changes.

Authenticated delivery of videos

The freedom to record anytime, anywhere...without the security risk of unauthorized recordings making it to the Camtasia Relay server. Record offline. Log in and select a profile as soon as you are back on the network.

Use existing media servers

You won't need a new server to store recordings. Send produced recordings to your existing file server, any web or FTP server, iTunes U, Screencast.com....the list goes on.

Multiple file formats

The options your audience wants, including audio-only and video. With formats like Flash and iPod video (MP4), audio (MP3), Camtasia Studio (CAMREC), Windows Media (WMV), along with others...and the ability to produce one recording into any or all of the above, you are sure to find the format best for your viewers.

Blackboard notifications

Give students access to all course materials in a single place. Camtasia Relay automatically adds a Blackboard announcement when your recording is published.

iTunes U integration

Publish right to your university's iTunes U site. Centralize information for easy access by students and fellow faculty members.

LDAP authentication

Don't worry about another set of user names and passwords! With LDAP integration support, Camtasia Relay makes it possible to use existing credentials.

Email notifications

Be in the know. Camtasia Relay sends email notifications to presenters when their recording has finished the production and publishing process. Administrators will receive system emails when the server needs attention.
